Born in 1946 in Gunma Prefecture, Japan. Graduated from Gunma University, Educational Studies Department. An Accident while teaching gymnastics to his class permanently paralyzed his body below the collar. Now, by holding his paintbrush in his mouth, Mr. Hoshino creates graceful and delicate paintings of wildflowers and animals with reflective poetry that never fails to capture the gratitude and joy he feels for the life given to him by our Lord, Jesus Christ. In Japan, admirers of Mr. Hoshino and his art have attended exhibitions exceeding 5.9 million.
